I need help, ladies. I'm making wipes and I can't get the corners right. Maybe I'm being too picky, but they are puckering and bugging me. These are for a friend, and the next batch is for me. It's not super important, but I would like to do them properly.
I looked at videos online, and they talk about releasing the fabric from the foot at the corner to move it back a bit, so you don't have the quarter inch of fabric that isn't serged. I can't figure out how to release it with my machine. It releases the part that hasn't been through the needles, but not the stuff that has.

I kept plugging along and they are looking better, but not perfect.
I found that if I stopped right after the edge, with the needles up, turned the fabric, pulled it towards me a little and then started going, it looked better.
I liked curved bc it's easier and you just round as you get to a corner.
I am far far from an expect. Probably even barely knowledgeable when it comes to surgers.

Pull fabric from behind to unhook the fabric and two extra loops from the stitch arm.
Bring the fabric back down and start serging from the next corner.

My corners look kind of funny because I've got wooly nylon in my machine right now, but regular poly or cotton thread will sit nicely on a nice sharp corner.
